The Altice Portugal Foundation reaffirms its commitment to AIDGLOBAL in 2023, renewing the telecommunications support protocol, strengthening the ties created between both entities and contributing to the development of the Organization's actions in the field of Development Education and Global Citizenship.
The support includes ensuring telecommunications services for 1 year, to facilitate the accessibility of communication, essential to the success of the projects that AIDGLOBAL develops.
It is therefore with a feeling of gratitude that the headquarters of AIDGLOBAL, in Lisbon, and its delegation, on the island of Porto Santo, Autonomous Region of Madeira, have, again, the support of the Altice Portugal Foundation.
The relationship between the two entities was born in 2022 because Inclusion is one of the emblematic concerns of both Organizations.
It is with the premise of “Acting, Including and Developing through Education”, promoting Global Citizenship and change in favour of a sustainable world, that the intervention of the two institutions intersects and frames sustainability as an intrinsic pillar.
Thanks to the support of the Altice Portugal Foundation, AIDGLOBAL was able to ensure proximity and communication with the various
stakeholders — the educational community, schools, companies, partners and other entities — who are directly or indirectly involved in the Organization's various development projects.
In different areas such as Climate Change, Human Rights, Youth Participation and Early Childhood Education that stimulate awareness of existing problems, locally and globally, the Altice Portugal Foundation provides essential support for AIDGLOBAL's activity, a catalyst for changes to build a more just, egalitarian and sustainable society.
To engage in the demand for a more equitable world, AIDGLOBAL, anchored with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), foreseen in the 2030 Agenda, and, with the conviction of the purposes and collective mobilization, shows that the work developed, over the years, has only been possible through the contribution of socially committed and responsible entities that contribute to the success of its mission in favour of Human, integrated and sustained development.
