AIDGLOBAL launches Back to School Campaign in Portugal: Sponsor a School in Mozambique

On September 5, AIDGLOBAL took another step toward improving Early Childhood Education in Mozambique, a country where only 3.5% of children have access to preschool education.

To counter this statistic, the organization is launching a social media campaign called “No Regresso à Escola, em Portugal, Apadrinhe uma Escolinha em Moçambique” (Back to School in Portugal: Sponsor a School in Mozambique) to raise funds to support the six “Escolinhas” Community Schools in Chibuto, created in 2022 as part of the “Educadores em Movimento – Uma Educação Itinerante para a Primeira Infância" (Educators in Motion - Itinerant Education for Early Childhood)."

To improve the future of Mozambican children, AIDGLOBAL hopes to count on the support of companies and individuals committed to social responsibility, both in Portugal and Mozambique, because it believes in cooperation between civil society organizations and the business community.

All information about the Campaign is available on the AIDGLOBAL website, and those who join the Campaign “Back to School in Portugal, Sponsor a School in Mozambique” can choose to sponsor one or more schools. By doing so, you will be ensuring that the children of Chibuto can grow, learn, play, have access to a meal, and break the cycle of poverty.

Once again, AIDGLOBAL is counting on its supporters and sympathizers to help fulfill its mission: “To act, include, and develop through education, promoting literacy, development, and global citizenship to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable world.”
