The Papa Estórias will be reading the story “A Formiga Juju e o Sapo Karibu”
On March 15, at 3pm, the José Saramago Library in Loures will host “A Formiga Juju e o Sapo Karibu” (The Ant Juju and the Frog Karibu), in a session organized by the Papa Estórias that will address non-discrimination due to difference in an original and fun way with parents and children.
Juju is a Mozambican ant who guides children on an adventurous journey across the African continent, promoting values such as solidarity, diversity, creativity, unity, inclusion, participation, environmental protection and citizenship. In this tale, she is accompanied by her friend Karibu, a frog who communicates through his hands, making them realize that there are different ways of communicating, including sign language. After the success of the session at the Galveias Palace with Margarida Botelho, which was attended by around 50 children and adults, it's Papa Estórias' turn to promote the reading of “A Formiga JuJu e o Sapo Karibu”, now at the José Saramago Library in Loures. The Papa Estórias are a Story Animation Club formed by a group of students from the Basic Education Degree course at the Lisbon School of Education, who are dedicated to animating stories for children of all ages.
